The official X (formerly Twitter) for the Love Live! franchise confirmed on April 7 that the music video for “Koi Ni Naritai AQUARIUM,” the second single from the nine-member unit Aqours of the Love Live! Sunshine!! series, had reached 10 million views on YouTube.
Seven months after the release of their first single “Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiterukai?” in October 2015, Aqours released their second single “Koi Ni Naritai AQUARIUM” from Lantis on on April 27, 2017. The song was written by Aki Hata, who has worked on all of the songs for Love Live! and Love Live! Sunshine!!, and composed by Yugo Sasakura, who provided “Kaguya no Shiro de Odoritai” (February 2013) and “Wonder zone” (March 2013) for Love Live!‘ unit μ’s.
The CD single of “Koi Ni Naritai AQUARIUM” peaked at #3 on Oricon’s weekly single charts when it was released. The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) certificated the single as “Gold” in September 2017, which is given to music CDs that sold more than 100,000 copies in Japan.
In commemoration of the one year anniversary of the release of the single, the song’s full version music video was posted on the Love Live! franchise’s official YouTube channel on April 27, 2017.

Aqours final solo concert, “Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours Final LoveLive! ~Eikyu stage~” is sheduled to be held at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture on June 21 and 22, 2025.
