More than three years on from its initial announcement, it was revealed today that the upcoming ZOMBIE LAND SAGA anime film, subtitled Yumeginga Paradise and produced by studio MAPPA, will hit Japanese theaters sometime this year.
A ‘Kick-Off’ trailer and visual were also unveiled, with the latter featuring the tagline, “Everyone, we’re back!”

The first season of ZOMBIE LAND SAGA, which debuted in October 2018, was directed by Munehisa Sakai (Dance Dance Danseur) at studio MAPPA, with series composition by Shigeru Murakoshi (Kakegurui Twin), character designs by Kasumi Fukagawa (IDOLiSH7) and music by Yasuharu Takanashi (TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy-). A second season subtitled “REVENGE” followed in April 2021.
Core cast members include Kaede Hondo, Asami Tano, Risa Taneda, Maki Kawase, Kotono Mitsuishi, Rika Kinugawa, Minami Tanaka and Mamoru Miyano.
